There are no excuses, really. They just called to me from a shop window as I passed. I haven’t bought any new shoes in ages, anyway. And look at that color! Lurvely!

I also committed to a a full-size tube of Fekkai shea butter hair mask. I don’t even want to get into how much that cost, but if a 1.6 oz. travel tube was $8.50, imagine how much my 9 oz. tube set me back. Dammit.

Nothing makes a gal feel better like buying happy-making shoes and beauty products. The more it costs, the better you feel sometimes. . . .

You are powerless to the power of Puma, Sid. ;) Cute shoes!

that’s crazy, cause a pair of puma’s recently called out to my wife, as well. they’re gold.

it’s been YEARS since an item of clothing called my name. i must be tone deaf.

    Cute shoes!

Now gather around. Shhh … I’m going to tell you a secret … The best place to get Shea Butter is at your nearest health food store. 100% Natural. And, it’s cheaper and less diluted than the stuff they sell over the beauty counter. :)

thanks, y’all. nothing makes a gal feel better about unjustified spending than a chorus of “cah-UTE!” Heh.

    Rob–you’re a blog-angel!
Brando–you’re not tone-deaf, you just ain’t got no sole! (ba-dum-bum. Ching! Oh, you know you set that up.)
Stolie–I know, I know. I used to actually use real shea butter, melt it down in the microwave and use it, but I found the residue left on my hair would make me break out. But my hair does love the shea-buttery things. This is the best compromise I’ve found. Just can’t win for losin’, as they say…
