Dude, I miss it when the Real World had people you gave a shit about and actually did stuff other than get drunk and stupid. But I’m still of the belief that the best Real World was the first one — it was so new that no one had expectations and it was just fresh, real and cool.
However, I will say that it reall went to hell in my head after maybe New Orleans. I pretty much stopped watching after that.
Ooh, ooh, ooh … And, I also miss that time when the show included characters who weren’t anorexic AND suicidal AND coked out AND homeless AND alcohol by the time they were 12 AND all of the other drama the people seem to have on the show now.
I was just thinking the same thing when the Laguna Beach marathon was on Saturday while I was cleaning and they showed commercials for the new season. After Las Vegas I was done with the real world. I mean London and Paris were horrible. I didn’t even watch the seasons in their entirety.

The Las Vegas season was a mess. The people of that season did nothing but get drunk and sleep around.
i think RW needs a hiatus. it got stale a while ago. one of my favs, though, was the boston house. they were pretty cool…kinda. : /
