Siddity in the City

Today, I worked a double shift.

14 hours.

Whew.

I was so busy…I read a novel.

An entire novel.

Before the first shift was up.

Yep. Only 7 more days of this job. Not so bad, really. It’s kind of awesome, actually. I did buy all those books figuring this would happen, after all. I’ve got three more to get through. And after 40 hours of this, I’ll actually be paid time-and-a-half. For reading! Excellent, really.

The book was charming. Yep. A bit hard to transition to Dubliners after, but still, amusing. Light-hearted fun.

I’m putting myself to sleep.
