Time a-wastin’.

I miss the Sims, and having an apartment, for that matter, but this will do for now.
Also, does anybody else enjoy that TBS show “My Boys” or am I the only dork who kinda digs the whole premise?

My Boys. That’s the one about the girl in Chicago who has all of the guy friends, right? You know me, if it’s not Take Home Chef or Nip/Tup or reeeaaallly bead reality TV like the Biggest Loser, I’m not watching it.
i’ve never seen the show, but i see the banner ad for it on match.com all the time and it’s ridiculously annoying so i now have no interest in watch the show. as silly as that sounds.
I saw the pilot of My Boys and thought they were trying too hard to be all Chicago-authentic. Too much name-dropping. That said, I like the premise. Most of the criticism I’ve heard is around her lifestyle as a sports journalist. I don’t know nothing about that, so I just enjoy it for what it is.
Note: I haven’t seen it since the first episode, so I’m sure things have changed.

i felt kinda lame, since it’s sponsored by match.com. but i enjoy it. the sports journalist stuff isn’t too accurate, from what i’ve seen, but no tv show is accurate around that stuff. it’s like what david simon said about real-life news conferences vs. tv news-conferences: the real thing is full of real boring stuff.
so that said, i like it. screw the falsities.
