Hot Fuzz.

Best, most (intentionally) derivative, most ridiculous shoot-out ever.

You know, if you like that sort of thing.

(As an aside: Paddy Considine: Sexay! or Unsexay! Please to respond via comments.)

He lives in that liminal state betwixt sexay and unsexay totally relative to context including the amount of heartsickness I feel for the British Isles and number of pints and fingers of whiskey I’ve downed. Wah.

M: Woman, get outta mah heid!

The word that comes to my mind is intriguing. I found him very charming and attractive in “In America,” but I wouldn’t call him sexy for the main reason that he looks too much like Stephen Rea for my liking.

    Eh.

he kinda falls in that limbo-land with John Hannah….hawt in one thing (sliding doors), meh in the next project (the mummy). and what divine m said!

Hm. I actually find John Hannah pretty sexy, full stop. Not entirely sure why. Paddy Considine, though, I am ambivalent about. Neither of them is exactly traditionally attractive, but they both have some charm, some menace, some of the fool about them. Which is what makes them both such good character actors. Meh.

hm. sexay in “In America”, not so much in that photo.
i find most brit dudes intriguing - that is, until i get an eyeful of british teeth and then start thinking about what it might be like to kiss that medieval mouth. then intrigue dwindles to ’sorta interesting as drinking buddy.’

    more my speed? El Rufus.

ah, rufus. I’ve had a thing for him and his crazy eyeball since the honest courtesan–er, dangerous beauty.

what’s funny is i totally did not find paddy considine sexy in in america. appealing, emotionally, but not sexy. i did find him kind of crazy/sexy in my summer of love. don’t even remember him in 24 hour party people.

have you seen the Shakespeare Retole series? they update Taming of the Shrew and rufus plays the boorish lead. it’s so hot, my friends and i rewatched 20 times. they’re finally available on DVD from the BBC.
