Heads up own asses. Managements don't cough up the budgets or time to pursue the hard-earned answers to the unpopular questions that matter. Plus it feels better to ask, "What makes a guy do that?" rather than "How did our institutions fail us?" and "Why didn't we stop it?" and "How are we all complicit?" See? No fun. Feck.
