Just to add to my cranktacular mood, I just got an email from the Eddie Izzard fan club (yes, I am a member) telling me he’s gigging in New York this week, at…no wait, they were wrong. It’s LA. The Coronet is in LA, on La Cienega, not New York. WTF? Why would they scare me like that? And who’s in charge of edits over there?
But seriously, Eddie, would it kill you to leave LA for five minutes? I mean, Chicago is a great comedy town, too.

the fabulous izzard has been known to show up in chicago. roomie is a fan and we got tickets to a show he performed about two years ago. our scottish pastor heckled him and he heckled right back. it was awesome.
