Viv has hit me with the memes, as did Michelle recently, so you get a twofer of Sidliciousness.

Viv’s meme:

1. I detest raw bananas. I can eat them in baked goods, or fried, but a plain old banana? Makes me gag.
2. As a child, I almost choked someone out in a fit of rage. I haven’t gotten into a real fight since, and I won’t stand and argue with anyone if I’m feeling really prickly. I’ll go, collect my thoughts, and come back when I can express myself rationally, because I don’t ever want that loss of control to happen again.
3. I am closely related to a 1990s one hit wonder.
4. I sound vaguely like young Gary Coleman on the phone.
5. I have more faith in man than I let on.
6. I once worked in a candy shop, selling various confections, from Belgian chocolates to egg creams. I make the finest frozen lemonade you’ve never had.
7. Popcorn, mango, maki. Three foods I could never swear off.
8. I don’t like Paris. I don’t hate it, but I’ve been twice and I don’t love it. Maybe I need to visit now. It’s been nearly 10 years since the last trip.

I only went to one, and went in a group of girls.

In college, I was in a huge suite of seven girls. My actual roommate? Lee. She’s very cool. Went to her wedding last year. She debuted a film at Tribeca this year. It was a fascinating group

3. What was your first alcoholic drink?
Something I recall my father letting me sip as a kid. Definitely beer, though I don’t recall which.

4. What was your first job?
Babysitting. Then university office work.

5. What was your first car?
Toyota Corolla.

6. Who is the first person you thought of this morning?
An HR recruiter.

7. Who was your first grade teacher?
Seriously. I attended six different elementary schools. I have NO idea. I remember liking her until she got mad at me for accidentally sitting in ink. Bitch.

8. Where did you go on your first ride on an airplane?
Boston to Philly, I think.

9. When you snuck out of your house for the first time, who was it with?: I never did that. It wouldn’t have worked, anyway.

10. Who was your first best friend and are you still friends with them?:
Christie Willis. Haven’t talked to her in years. I’m terrible about staying in touch.

11. Where was your first sleep over?
A cousin’s place? School friend?

12. Who was the first person you talked to this morning?
An HR recruiter.

13. Whose wedding were you serving in the first time?
I think it was my step-mother’s family, if I recall. Then again, maybe it never happened?

14. What is the first thing you do in the morning?:
Bathroom. I don’t go at night.

Mighty Purple. Do local club acts count? Otherwise, Tina Turner.

16. First tattoo or piercing?:
My ears have been pierced off and on since I was 4. I’ve redone them at least three times. Tattoo–19.

17. First foreign country ever visited?
Mexico.

18. First crush?: Geoffrey Somethingorother. I believe it was fourth grade, and he was already really tall, would turn tomato red when he laughed, and was really nice to me.

Still waiting.

20. When was your first detention?:
I was suspended in 8th grade.

21. Who was your first kiss?
Two friends, on my birthday, several years ago.

22. What was the first state you lived in:
Massachusetts

23. Who was the first person to break your heart?:
My father, I think.
