The view from here is fine.

I’m working happily, and hopefully will soon receive a permanent offer. I’ve been temping in the same place for a few months now, and while I wasn’t initially sure the position would be the right fit, I’m finding it comfortable, and I really, really like the people.

They like me, too, enough to be talking seriously about hiring me on as a permanent employee. Let me say this again: I really like the people. As we jump through the HR hoops, I’m realizing just how very crucial it is to have people around you with whom you click. I was recently informed that one of my former employers–who offered me massive wage increases and incentives to remain in their clut…employ–are apparently now “refusing to comment” on my performance. Golly. Controlling and spiteful. Why on earth would I have given that up? Sadly, there were three good people there that I will always miss. May god keep them sane.

Other news: It took the entire summer, but I’m finally–FINALLY!!–back under two bucks. I’m sort of horrified by how long it took. Then again, considering how often I’m out eating, drinking, and generally not living the organic-zen-vegan life, and the fact that, hey, I’m almost 30, I should be glad I’m still able to bend my arse to my will at all.

Also, I’m “dating.” This year I’ve already surpassed my usual quota of date-like activities, and may, in fact, continue to do so. For now, that’s all I have to say about that.

Gah. I have to get out of the office. The gym calls. Hope y’all are well!

Happily working is a great thing! Liking the folk around is very very important. My last job didn’t provide me with such wonderfulness. The money was great but the people, eh. Especially the boss! Gaaahhhhh!

Yay for under 2 bucks! I’m struggling to say there. Only 3lbs to go! OMG! I’ve never ever been THERE! So, A.M. gym workouts are my new “hobby”. :)

Dating, what is that? I’m afraid I don’t recall ever doing that. Geez. Can you elaborate. I kid. I kid. *LoL* Maybe 2008 will reintroduce me to this thing you call dating.

HAVE TONS OF FUN! GLAD YOU ARE DOING WELL!

please, please do explain this dating you speak of.

and if this girl can lose weight living with me (which she has) and my bad eating habits , she’s the master of all things!
