I'm thinking Mary's plan might be a bad one...I'd be falling down drunk by 6 p.m. (and that's afer getting home at 5 p.m.)..but, again, it would stop the thinking! Every time you try and curb it, then you just get caught up overthinking all the overthinking we do. I guess the best thing to do is to keep alcohol close at hand so every time an overthinking episode occurs, we can beat it into submission with a shot. :) I agree with K.

It's easy to get caught up in a feedback loop of "What's wrong with me? What's wrong with my job/romantic life/hair/ipod/mental state?" I overthink all day, every day. So I sympathize.
