I’m just now sobering up from last night’s Dresden Dolls extravaganza. Thanks, my birthday gift show at the Vic was great. I mean, I know you didn’t know it was a christmas/early birthday gift from roomie, (thanks, ‘Chelle!) but I felt like you and Brian were doing a great job all the same. Good times.
Here’s the thing. Your solo project? Don’t let that Ben Folds fuck you up with his Ben Fold-y production! I mean, he’s great and all, but…really, Ben Folds? Huh. Would not have guessed. Granted, as one member of my concert-going party pointed out, he’s big on piano, that guy, so I guess I shouldn’t be too surprised….
Anyway, you’re my girlcrush, love you bunches, I’d totally have made out with you and that chick with the really cool haircut who I chatted up before the show…oh wait, is that relevant?

Well. So. Other things I learned last night:
1. I need to stop ordering the fresh spring rolls at Duck Walk. Not. Tasty. Please to remember, self, you’ve tried them three times, and every time you forget.
2. When a guy says his breakup has been “amicable” and won’t hate on his ex, it means “She dumped me and I still want her back.” Why didn’t anyone tell me this years ago?
Oh, that’s it, really. Wow. That all seemed much more important and urgent and monumental like, 20 minutes ago. Damned hangovers.
Happy Sunday.

yer welcome! it was a great show—i so want to hang out with the acrobatic burlesque girls and learn some moves!
