You know, I have been trying to finish a post from last week for, well, a week now, but I can’t get two minutes stuck together to do it.
Now I have a minute. I’m not finishing it.
I am going to issue a general pissy pooh-pooh to Overstock.com. Their prices are routinely higher than those I find on Amazon, and they’ve adopted this habit of claiming they are having a “sale,” when in fact all they do is list “comparable” prices for other alleged (undisclosed) retailers, and then theirs. Look, unless you are reducing YOUR prices, you are not having a sale!
For instance, on Overstock.com, the chair below is listed at $199.95, and “compared” to $399 at another retailer. Another imaginary retailer.
But, I found the same chair on Targetdecor.com for $50 less than Overstock is charging, with the added bonus of no delivery fee.
Overstock, I quit you.
Carry on.
i think they’re based out of utah, which would explain the smoke and mirrors.
