I’ve finally gotten all of my crap out of storage, and have shipped it all home to Chicago.
I am thrilled.
No more storage fees, no long-distance relationship with my Puma collection, no more feeling like a nomad.
Chicago is, officially, and for the foreseeable future, capital-H-Home.
I’ll be on the road for several days yet–BFF’s wedding to Mr. BFF is fast approaching! Yay!–and I can’t wait to get Home.
Don’t mistake my meaning; I’m so happy to be spending the next week with my family and friends, and I do wish I could see them more often than I have since I’ve moved halfway across the country. But I miss my bed. I miss my cat. I miss my quiet, orderly little world.
Soon, said world will be filled with linens and cookware and technicolor shoes! Squee!
